Hello!Tech Readers In this post we will discuss about new upcoming whatsapp features in 2023 they will make whatsapp more exciting.

Whatsapp is coming with cool new features in 2023 which will make massaging on whatsapp even more exciting some of them are already on beta version and some are totally new. Whatsapp has already  launched many new features in 2022 and the upcoming new features will come on whatsapp within next one or two months.

We already know whatsapp is popular massaging platform with more than 2billion active users and more importantly whatsapp can be used in any device wether it is Android or IOS even we can use whatsapp in web so it became important for META to bring out new features regularly which will make whatsapp more exciting. 

What are new upcoming whatsapp features in 2023

1.Kept Massages

Whatsapp is introducing new feature in which you can keep massages that means you can make chat anti delete.when someone deletes the massage using "Delete for everyone" option the massage will be deleted to everyone but now you can simply hold the massage and click on kept massage and the massage will not be deleted after that. This feature will make chating on whatsapp more interesting so i am eagerly waiting for this feature. 

2.Chat Transfer

The another cool new feature which will come on whatsapp is chat transfer.Previously we need to back up the chat on Google drive or ICloud and when we change our device we need to download the chat from cloud storage and then whatsapp restores the chat but when this feature will come we can directly transfer data from one device to other even without internet connection but it can only work when you transfer data from Android to Android or IOS to IOS. 

3.View Once Text

This feature is already in media files,when we send media like photos or videos to someone we can use view once option that means when the receiver opens the file the media will disappear after viewing once but this feature will also come for text massage. When you send text massage to anyone on whatsapp and you use this view once option the massage will disappear automatically after viewed. 

4.Block Shortcut

This upcoming whatsapp feature will allow users to block the unknown person without opening the chat box. When we receive chat from unknown number on whatsapp we need to open the chat box and then we can block the person but this feature will allow us to block the number in notification panel,Is not it exciting. 

5.Screen Lock For Whatsapp Web

The another new feature which will whatsapp introduce in next two months is screen lock for whatsapp web. Previously when we write about How to link a device on whatsapp there was a privacy concern that you can't use screen lock on linked device but after this feature you can use screen lock on both device.

6.Call Tab on Whatsapp

Call tab is another feature which will whatsapp release soon this feature will enable the user to track the whatsapp call history both video and voice call history.This tab(call tab) will be seen on new sidebar menu of the whatsapp as shown in screenshot. 

7.Proxy Connection

The another cool new feature that will whatsapp introduce soon is proxy connection which will enable the user to use whatsapp even in the country where whatsapp is banned like in china by setting proxy. Rumors are also that by creating proxy connection whatsapp can be used without internet connection.Will see how it will work and i will bring the update. 

8.E-Commerce in whatsapp

We all know whatsapp enables us to manage business by sending business massages to costumers but now whatsapp will bring the feature to list the items for sale,we just need to click on buy and pay using whatsapp pay,the order will be on your door step.This feature will effect the many E-Commerce websites like Amazon and flipkart. 

9.Picture in Picture Mode

This feature is already enjoyed by Android users but IOS users don't have picture in picture mode but the wait is over they will soon get the picture in picture mode in whatsapp.Picture in Picture mode enable the users to uses whatsapp in pop up window.
