WhatsApp is popular messaging app in the world and is bringing out new features regularly from previous year. Now WhatsApp is rolling out few new features for both Android and IOS. Previously WhatsApp has bought many new features for both IOS and Android like, Picture-in-Picture mode in IOS, Undo Messages ,Leave groups silently, Message Yourself and many more. Now WhatsApp is rolling out few more features for both IOS and Android, What is new? in these updates let's know.
What Is New For Android?
Limiting The Polls To Only One Choice
WhatsApp is rolling out new features through the Google Play Beta Program and is working to limit the poll response to only one choice. In the future update of the app we will see this feature.
In November 2022 WhatsApp has update the poll feature for everyone as everyone is able to create poll so that they can get the response from the audience. But the drawback of the WhatsApp poll is that we can choose multiple answers to a single poll. From releasing of the ability to create polls on WhatsApp Users are continuously requesting the WhatsApp to limit the polls to only one choice and fortunately WhatsApp is now working on it, In the version 2.23.6.16 we will see this update of limiting the polls to choose only one option.

As you see in the above screenshot posted by WABetaInfo that WhatsApp is introducing a new toggle while composing a new polls which will let the sender of the poll to limit the poll to only one choice. In the above screenshot it is also clearly visible that receiver of the poll will also see the instruction to select only one option.
Profile Icon
s While Group Chats
The another update WhatsApp is rolling out on WhatsApp for Android is profile icons within group chats, WhatsApp is ready to rollout the new group feature for Android users in which the group members will see the profile icon of the sender along with sent data in the group chats. This feature is already released for the WhatsApp Beta for IOS , but it was under development for Android. Finally we WhatsApp is releasing this feature to some Android Beta testers that installs the latest version of WhatsApp Beta for Android.

We need to open the group chats to see is this feature available in our WhatsApp account or not. The feature will increase the group member identifications as we can easily see the profile icon of the user while conversation.
What Is New For IOS?
Voice Status For IOS
WhatsApp has released a new version of WhatsApp for IOS available in App Store in which user will be able to upload Voice Status. This feature was already available to the WhatsApp for Android but was under developed on WhatsApp for IOS. Finally WhatsApp has released this update on WhatsApp for IOS, Users can avail this feature by updating WhatsApp from App Store.

Once can share voice note in their status by clicking on the create icon under status section the tap on the Mic to record the voice note and share it with your contacts or you can use privacy option to limit the sharing with contacts.
Extract Text From Image
WhatsApp is rolling out the new feature to extract the text right out from an images. After releasing the feature to create customized stickers easily on the WhatsApp for IOS, now WhatsApp is rolling out the new feature to extract the text from the image right from the WhatsApp for IOS. The ability to extract the text from the image is available to everyone if you want to for yourself update the latest version of WhatsApp from App Store.
