Google Release Nearby Sharing Stable Version

Nearby Sharing is a straightforward way for devices, such as computers or smartphones, to share files and content with each other when they are close by. It allows users to easily share pictures, videos, documents, and other types of files from Android to Windows or computers directly without using cables or cords. As we know Google introduced the Nearby Sharing Beta version earlier this year which allows nearby PCs and Windows to connect with Android.

Nearby Share For Windows

The Nearby Sharing feature was launched by Google earlier this year as a beta version for Windows that allows users to share data easily from Windows to Android. Nearby Share for Windows is available as an app and since its launch, the app is downloaded by 1.7 million people worldwide and over 50 million files have been transferred between PC and Android devices

Since the Nearby Share was launched at the end of March 2023 as a beta version now Google has launched its stable version which is available to download for users, Google has also added some new features to it

Showing estimated time for the file transfer which helps to track the time taken for the files to transfer.
Added Image Preview feature which shows images in notifications when received and confirms the correct file is transferred.

Google is also collaborating with partners like HP to include the Nearby Share app on selected Windows and PCs.
