August 2023 Security Update Now Available for Galaxy S22 Series

As Samsung is releasing the August 2023 security update to Galaxy devices and it will be now available for the Galaxy S22 series. The August 2023 security update was first released for Galaxy 20FE and later for many more devices like Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy S23 series, and Galaxy Z series. The August 2023 security update is now available for the Galaxy S22 series and users in certain Latin American countries like Brazil, Chile, and Colombia can grab the update now. Moreover, the update will not be limited to these countries but will be available in more Latin American countries soon.

Galaxy S22 Series August 2023 Security Update

The latest August security update will be available to Galaxy S22, S22 Plus, and Glaxay S22 Ultra and comes with the firmware version S901EXXS6CWG9. Currently, it is available in some Latin American countries but it will be extended to the world till the end of the month. This is a security patch level update with a motive to improve security in Galaxy devices and according to Samsung, it will fix as many as 70 security flaws related to Samsung Members, Browser, and Galaxy Store. However, Samsung also claims that the update will improve low-light shots for the primary lens and improve image quality.
