Hello!Everyone wellcome back to the new fresh post in which we will tell you how to change UPI pin in paytm, phonepe and google pay.As you all know UPI becomes very popular payment method nowadays almost everyone is using UPI payment methods or UPI apps like google pay and phonepe.
UPI (Unified Payment Interface) is a unique Payment address of the user used to receive and send online payments.The UPI payment system generally consists of two things UPI address and UPI Pin.UPI address is a unique payment address which is used to send and receive payments without any difficulty and UPI pin is four or six digit code which serves as payment password or transaction password.To use UPI payment system one should be registered in UPI enabled apps like google pay, phonepe and paytm.As i mentioned above UPI pin is four or six digit passcode which serves and transaction password now if you forget this UPI pin you will not be able to make transactions so you need to reset it.
How to reset Upi pin in paytm
1.Go to the paytm app on your mobile phone
2.Now go to the profile section of the Paytm app located at the upper left corner.
3.Scroll down and Click on the "UPI and Payment settings".
4.Now click on the " Change Pin" Under the desired bank account.
5.Enter the last 6 digits of debit card number associated with the bank account number and expirey date mentioned on debit cards card.
6.Now enter the otp received on your mobile number linked with the bank.
7.Create a new four or six digit numeric pin which you can remember.
(Some banks may also need to enter ATM card pin to reset the UPI pin)
How to reset UPI pin in google pay
1.Open the google pay app on your mobile phone.
2.Go to the profile section of the google pay app
3.Now go to the "bank accounts" Option.
4.Select the desired bank on which you want to reset UPI pin.
5.Now click on the "Forget UPI Pin" option.
6.Enter the last six digits of the debit card number and expirey date mentioned on card.
7.Now enter the otp received on your mobile number linked with the bank account.
8.Create the new UPI pin and remember it for future references.
How to reset UPI pin in Phonepe
1.Open the phonepe app on your mobile phone.
2.Click on profile section in the phonepe app.
3.Select the desired bank account on which you want to reset UPI pin.
4.After selecting the bank account, Click on the reset option under the bank.
Here you can reset your UPI pin by two methods (a) Aadhaar card (b) Debit card
Method(a)
To reset your UPI pin by aadhaar card your mobile number linked with the aadhaar and bank account should be same.
1.Select the Adhaar number liked with bank option.
2.Now enter the adhaar number linked with your bank account.
3.Enter the opt recived on your adhaar linked mobile number.
4.After verification process is done, create your new UPI pin.
Method(b)
Another method of reseting UPI pin is by debit card number
1.Select the Debit card option.
2.Enter the last 6 digits of debit card and expirey date mentioned on card.
3.Enter the otp received and verify.
4.Now create a new UPI pin and remember it.
