Xiaomi introduced MIUI 14 globally just few months ago and now, the latest version of MIUI 14 is available in India. Compared to the previous version, this new version offers many new features and it also focuses on some new design changes. MIUI 14: Update device list and Rollout Date
Xiaomi has revealed that the flagship Xiaomi 12 Pro has started receiving the Android 13-based MIUI 14 update.
For other Xiaomi and Redmi smartphones, the MIUI 14 rollout will start in Q1 2023 and will go on till Q3 2023. Here is the list of Xiaomi smartphones getting MIUI 14.

Xiaomi has also made changes in the design along with the performance of the new UI. The new UI includes the MIUI Photon Engine, which runs on the Android kernel. This helps third party developers to create simpler and more power efficient apps. System memory footprints have been significantly reduced in this new UI, which means that users will now get fewer pre-installed apps than before and those available can also be removed. There will be only 8 apps which cannot be uninstalled.
The company claims that the system flow has also been improved by 60 percent with MIUI 14 Update. Changes can also be made to the icons and visuals with the new UI. That is, now you will get more customization. Also, you will be able to increase or decrease the size of the icons as per your choice and users will be able to change its design as well.
MIUI will also give you the option to remove extra objects from the background of your photo, as well as remove lines and shadows from the photo. There is also a new watermark option which you can use on your photo. There is also a new cut-out feature in this updated UI, with the help of which you will be able to fit your picture in a different background.
The camera app has a voice shutter feature that can capture images with your voice. The new feature has also been included in the MIUI video editor.
