Quick Panel

New Button Layout: The quick panel now sports a different design that lets you easily reach the features you use the most. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth have their own special buttons right at the top of the screen. Visual features like Dark mode and Eye comfort shield have been shifted to the bottom. You can even personalize the middle area with other quick settings buttons.
Instant Access to Full Quick Panel: When you pull down from the screen's top, you'll see a neat quick panel with notifications. Pull down again, and notifications disappear, revealing the expanded quick panel. With Quick Settings instant access on, one swipe from the right side of the top lets you see the whole panel. A swipe from the left displays notifications.
Quick Acess to Brightness Control: The brightness control bar now shows up in the compact quick panel by default. Swipe down once from the screen's top for quicker brightness changes.
Improved Album Art Display: When you're enjoying music or videos, the app's album art takes over the entire media controller in the notification panel.
Enhanced Notification Layout: Each notification appears as its own card, making it easier to identify separate notifications.
Sort Notifications by Time: While playing music or videos, album art will cover the entire media controller in the notification panel if the app playing the music or video provides album art.

Lock Screen

Reposition Your Clock: On the Lock screen, you're now able to freely reposition your clock to your preferred location.

Home Screen

Simplified Icon Labels: App icon labels have been streamlined to a single line for a cleaner appearance. In certain cases, "Galaxy" and "Samsung" have been taken out of app names, making them shorter and easier to read quickly.

Typeface

New default font: One UI 6 introduces a fresh default font that embodies a sleek and contemporary vibe. This updated font becomes visible when you opt for the default font in your Settings. However, if you've chosen a distinct font, the upgraded One UI 6 will retain your selected font without any alteration.

Multitasking

Keep Pop-up Windows Open: Small windows that pop up won't disappear when you look at your recent activities. Instead, they'll stay open so you can go back to using them.

Samsung Keyboard

New Emojis: The little pictures you use in messages and social media now look different and new.

Content Sharing

Picture and Video Preview: Before you share any pictures or videos, you'll see smaller versions of them at the top of the screen. This helps you double-check before you share.
Extra Sharing Options: Depending on what app you're using, you might see extra options when you share things. For instance, if you're sharing a website from Chrome, you could also choose to share a picture of the site, along with its web address.

Weather

New Weather Widget: The new Weather insights widget gives you more details about your local weather. It shows you when big storms, snow, rain, and other events are expected.
More Info in Weather App: Now, the Weather app has extra info like snowfall, moon phases and times, air pressure, how far you can see, dew point, and which way the wind is blowing.
Interactive Map View: Move the map by swiping and tapping a spot to see what the weather is like there. You can find out about the weather in a place even if you don't know its name.
Better Pictures: The pictures in the Weather widget and app are better now. They help you understand the weather better. The colors of the pictures also change based on the time of day.

Camera

Custom Camera Widgets: Your Home screen gets a boost with customizable camera widgets. Assign specific shooting modes and choose where your pictures are saved.
More Alignment Options for Watermark: Place your watermark at the top or bottom of photos, giving you more control over your visual signature.
Quick Access to Resolution Settings: Adjust photo resolution swiftly by accessing the resolution button in the top quick settings bar of Photo and Pro modes.
