Meta Announces Paid Blue Tick Verification on Facebook and Instagram

Meta the gait social media company has announced the paid blue tick verification on Facebook and Instagram following the same model of verification badge like Elon Musk's Twitter.

Meta's CEO Mark Zuckerberg on his latest Instagram and Facebook Post announces that this weak we will rollout paid verification badge which will give you extra impersonation protection against the accounts claiming to be you. The Paid blue tick will start rolling out from Australia and Newzealand then it will rollout in USA and other countries. This weak the the paid verification badge will rollout in Australia and Newzealand. The subscription price starts for 11.99 US $ on web and 14.99 US $ on IOS and Android per month. You will need a Govt Id and you should be 18 years old to get verified blue tick badge along your name on Instagram and Facebook you don't need to be popular anymore.

As we know twitter had already announced the paid verification badge after take over by Elon Musk now the Meta also joined the list.In India the price is not yet announced if we go for direct conversion it will be more costlier than twitter and Netflix.
