Samsung is working on the One UI 6 update and will bring it to various devices very soon. As we are still waiting for the One 6 Update in the meantime Samsung released a new security update. The Korean tech gait Samsung is distributing the new update to various Galaxy devices, Currently the Galaxy S20FE devices receive the update in the form of an August 2023 Security patch
The new security update doesn't introduce any exciting changes to the device, but it does include some minor improvements to enhance device security. Samsung has not yet provided a detailed list of the fixes included in this update.
The August security patch is currently being released in certain countries like Panama, Bolivia, Brazil, Guatemala, Paraguay, and Trinidad & Tobago. Users of Galaxy S20FE in these countries will receive the update through OTA.
The new update for the Galaxy S20FE is now available in the mentioned countries. However, because of server limitations, it will be given out to users in batches. This means that some users will receive it on the same day it's released, while others might get it in the next few days.
If you have an S20FE, you should receive a notification on your device soon. Once you get the notification, you can easily update your device by tapping on it and following the instructions in the software update menu. Alternatively, you can manually check for the update by going to the software update option in your device's main Settings.
